Using the PVC pipe to cue the knees back in the Squat. Today we will try it with the Deadlift!

Warm up:

3 Rounds

2 Cartwheels -> 1o yd Line hop -> 10 yd Backpedal -> 10 yd Bear crawl

Skill work:

Deadlift with Knees behind the PVC: Set up a PVC pipe low in the rack (shin height) and place a kettlebell underneath the pipe.  Have athletes set up in a deadlift working to keep knees behind the PVC pipe.  Since they are not going to pick it up, it does not matter what weight the KB is.  In fact, a super heavy one (impossible to pick up) might be a good way to avoid having to reinforce leaving it on the ground.

WOD:

AMRAP in a given amount of time of

7 Deadlifts

7 Burpees

Skip 20-30 yd

Game!
