Warm up: 

This or That?  Partner Athletes  up in groups of 2 or three.  Give them a station to stand on in a row (mat, plates, line on floor etc) facing trainer.  Trainer calls out two options ei: Superman or Batman. Sleep in Late or Get up Early. Blackberries or Strawberries.  Christmas or Halloween. Etc. One choice the kids step off of their station to the right, the other step to the left.  Trainer chooses one for the athlete to perform a movement. “If you chose Batman do 2 burpees” and continue on having kids reset right away and give them new options.  Be creative and think of things that the athletes will enjoy answering

Skill work:

Partner Press:Partners start out seated back to back either on the floor or on a box.  A 4-6 inches of space in between is helpful. One partner holds a light plate (5-10lbs) vertically in front of the shoulders, presses to the overhead position and returns to the starting position.  On the second rep, the plate is passed overhead to the other partner. Be careful to communicate about who has “got it” before letting go. This can be done simultaneously as pairs in rotation with direct trainer supervision depending on the athletes.

Partner AMRAP

5 Push Ups Each

5 Box Jumps Each

5  Front Squats Each ( they can overhead partner pass if they wish to do so)

Run 100 m together
